The True Doctor

or Capitalism is Bad
or Screw Donald Trump
or The Ghost of Grace O'Brien
Twenty minutes of mind numbing soap opera before we see any plot, then
more soap opera, and still more, and finally puerile soap opera brings
this episode to its conclusion.
So what was it all about? Promoting homosexuality within the first 5
minutes by making one of the female characters married to another woman,
which lost all sympathy for her altogether. Then we're tortured by
dinner with Yasmin's family. Then Yasmin's mum thinks she's having a
fling with Whittaker. Graham meets the ghost of Sharon D. Clarke, which
no kid is ever going to understand. Then Yasmin's mum thinks she's
having a fling with Ryan. Then Ryan loses his dyspraxia ones again, then
plays some grime. And finally everyone joins Whittaker back in the
TARDIS, because Yaz can't stand her family, Graham can't get over
Clarke's ghost, and Ryan doesn't want to see his father.
Oh, and there were some spiders...
Garbage, complete and utter garbage.
Instead of mind numbing puerile soap opera why couldn't Chibnall do
romance? Why? Because that would stop him from promoting his vile and
disgusting misandristic, homosexual and transgender agenda, where the
Doctor is revealed to have cross dressed as a nun, and all men must be
made to look weak, as we saw with Graham, or evil, as we see with Ryan's
father, and have to be dominated by or subservient to women, but not in
an S&M kind of way, which takes away any enjoyment that can be gained
from it, altogether.
Once again Ryan loses his dyspraxia by being able to coordinate his
timing and reflexes to capture a spider by covering it with a saucepan
while it's on the run.
The villain of the day was created in order to attack Donald Trump and
continue the promotion of Chibnall's loony left wing agenda, that all
forms of capitalism and industry must be evil and catastrophic for
society and the environment. Why not portray a good capitalist for once
instead of a ridiculous stereotype devised crazy left wingers?
On top of that, once again Yasmin fails to alert the police of a serious
incident that would result in a threat to life and well-being, the
spider infestation in the city, so that they can deal with it
The northern accents make it impossible to tell any of the female
characters apart when they're speaking, and men, like Yasmin's dad, are
always portrayed as either stupid or weak, or both.
As usual Whittaker is totally unconvincing and has turned the Doctor
into a weakling, and everything is driven by fortunate coincidences.
Spiders just happen to infest Sheffield from the very moment the TARDIS
arrives. The first person they kill just happens to be one of Yasmin's
neighbors. Yasmin's mum just happens to have been employed by the
businessman at the center of it all, and one of the scientists who
genetically modified the spiders just happens to be visiting her friend
in Yasmin's tower-block and bumps into Whittaker. Totally ridiculous,
unworthy of even an episode of The Sarah Jane Adventures!
