every Christmas, you have at least one television advert that involve children getting in contact with Santa Claus. Here's an Irish advert from the 1990s that invokes an Enid Blyton-style "the toys come alive" with a little blonde girl contacting Santa through her toy telephone: Irish Telecom Éireann Christmas 'Santa' Advert on You Tube -

It's a bit creepy that ad with a small innocent child contacting a strange old man through her toy phone. And WTF do they have that shot of "Santa" loosening his belt?

What does this have to do with the Christmas 2014 Doctor Who episode with the Dream Crabs & Santa Claus?
